  1. Personally I’m happy to get behind Harris and leave the past behind us, I hope other fans will feel the same way as we need all the help and support we can get in this time 💛🖤

  2. To say I'm in shock would be an understatement!

To appoint somebody who most fans have called a hateful snake for the last year is a very strange decision!

Whose decision was it? I've heard that Ben Strang chose Bonner as his successor and then Bonner chose Harris as Monk's successor.

To be fair, we couldn't have attracted a better manager than Neil Harris on paper. Pound-for-pound, he was as good as any manager in The Championship in 2024.

It's all very bizarre and I just hope it's a stroke of genius and we're heading for promotion to League One, rather than fighting to stay out of the National League this time next year!

Some may think things were going great just before he walked out on us but this comment I made at the time shows that things had started to go downhill a bit after a very good start:

"I seem to remember saying on here that I was underwhelmed by Harris' appointment and after having a new manager bounce(7 points from 3 games), I haven't been particularly overwhelmed by his management since the first half at Oxford on Boxing Day."

"11 points from 10 games isn't a bad run when you're in a relegation battle but I would say since that awful second half at Oxford, we've put in three terrible performances, two very poor performances, two decent performances and just two good displays."

  3. We should get behind them. Chances are league 2 if anyone can get us out of this it’s Harris. Proven record and Bon’s is a fan favourite. But I don’t want to see 1 upfront in any game if so i don’t think the dynamic duo will last long. I have faith but no team should be playing 1 upfront. But it seems to be a good decision

  4. Things you thought you'd never see, a contrite Neil Harris but best of luck to them both – United in Endeavour! 🖤💛

  5. I see no point in denigrating the new management. But I am not surprised Harris as returned an I believe he will get the best out of the players those that think differently I say give them a chance an get behind the team an club as a whole. Up the u's!

  6. Neil really sounds like he's a man on a mission along with Bonz. Despite the way things are going this season I'm really excited for the future

  7. This is a very welcome sight, Mark Bonner is a legend at the club and Neil Harris is a top fellow, really couldn't think of a better combination to get things back on track

  8. Mark Bonners hilarious, talk about having the gift of the gab! He's like Eddie Hearn with his smoothe talking. He coupd talk his way into or out of anything 😂😂

  9. Feel sorry for Cambridge fans having him back, absolute fraud and I'm a millwall fan, those of us who are balanced and can separate his playing career from his managerial know he's appalling, one dimension long ball defensive football, setting up to not lose rather than win regardless of the opposition, plays players well past it if they are mates , doesn't give young players a chance, blames everyone but himself when you lose ,even publicly throws players under the bus , one dimensional is an under statement, arrogant, the list goes on, feel sorry for Cambridge fans..
