  1. Isak is leaving, because Eddie Howe, if we want to win something, sack Eddie Howe. Get some champion manager!

This club can never go anywhere under Eddie Howe!

  2. Howe out. Almost impossible that you can't motivate players to not be afraid of shooting while having Barnes and Miley in the team that both can master this playstyle with big shooting tendency. However, if admin pins my comment something special will happen

  3. Recent games suggest that NUFC are stuck at a level that doesn't threaten other teams. I agree that NUFC's aggressive, pressing game has largely disappeared. Instead, NUFC have become far too passive and too prone to defending far too deep. If it's a deliberate switch in play, it's certainly not working. Other problem is that the squad lacks depth. There's a reliance on a handful of key players. If NUFC can't up their game, then Liverpool will win the League Cup.

  4. I know it's unpopular to say, but if someone offers £100m for Isak this summer, we simply have to sell. I can't survive another transfer window where the highlight is 1-year contract extensions for players like Lascelles and John Ruddy.

So sell when the offer comes, and bring in a few top-class players, not to mention new energy and heightened competition in the squad.

  5. Isak offside goals are more beautiful than his legal goals. But the rest of our passengers needs to wake the fuck up. Every single one of them except Lewis Hall and Dubz. Disgraceful lot.

  6. just SACK Eddie. why should we too much hope with 2 CB older & slow ????!!!! we sell Kelly & gamble rest of this season with 2 older CB !!!!!! WTF !!! where our youngster ??? we have Harrison Ashby. why not called him from loan ???? im so sick with Eddie Golden Goose

  7. Newcaffle numby fieive, th gol scorer is othside.

Awful little gremlin. I despise VAR enough, now we have to cope with listening to these incompetent, biased match fixing weasels as well. No one needs it, no one wants it. Not sure why he didn’t announce the red since VAR was clearly in his ear.

PS Gordon can bleat on about his mentality all day long but he’s not a mentality monster, he’s a mentality mouse. Elite players don’t do that.

  8. This was such a great game, if we weren't offside we would of course have had a bigger chance of winning it – but Brighton was the deserved winner after all that! Hats off to everyone on that pitch for making me scream in my couch at home!

  9. That's pretty much season over. There's absolutely zero chance we're beating Liverpool in the League Cup final. Not with an English manager. The FA Cup definitely represented a better chance at silverware. No way are we getting Champions League either. Even getting Europa League would be a miracle. How I'd absolutely love it if I were wrong. So enjoy the likes of Isak banging them in the next few months — him & a few others will be off if we keep celebrating mediocrity.

  11. Gordon's red card is innocuous – def. not a straight red – really pointless & pathetic decision. If anyone is to be sent off, it is the first Brighton player that pushes a Newcastle player away. That was unecessary & blatantly trying to escalate matters. But no-one should be being sent off – so if you send off one player then you might as well send off a few – there is no consistency – none at all., Fabien Schar was pushed into an offside position that he didn't have time to recover from before the whistle was blown. Brighton were very lucky in my opinion. I am the first to stand up for a referee, but he's had a bad game – he's sent 2 players off when indeed he need not have done so. VAR has Schar's offside goal wrong because of the push in the build-up, the defender has no right to push him out of the way so forcibly, so he has made an infringement & should be further penalised. The referees are officiating the rules – so if the rules are rules – apply them all – not just as 'your feeling & instincts go" – which is irrational.
