To my knowledge, two hook limitation only applies when fishing for rockfish. Hence why you can use a sabiki or umbrella rig with multiple hooks. I don’t think there’s anything against using 3 troubles on those lures, but it wouldn’t hurt to replace with single hooks for catch and release.
Love the crawl through the H bar launch… my fat ass would never be able to pull that off! hahaha. Love fishing the big bay for fun. Another nice video!
such a sick and informative video bro!!! dude i'm pretty sure you can use three treble hooks look at lucky crafts I throw those all the time and they have three. bro one of your best videos!! shots out to my homie Josh O'side kayak guy he's a good kid good friend of mine.
What up Mikey love your videos I'm a hardcore ocean fisherman myself my son's name is Mikey Salah that anyhow thanks for all your hard work we love your videos Man no one's doing what you're doing your badass look forward to the next one can't tell her ocean Seasons get going looking forward to seeing some good videos this year from you your solo skiff is sick you got it set up amazingly all right talk to you later dude
I enjoy your videos man…. stuck in Phoenix but SD kayak is my home waters…
I watch you vids when I get home sometimes to remind me of home..
I’m riding out Covid but I’m there again eventually…
One thing I would like to say though..
Electrical and gas is not two things you want to mix…
If everything is done right.. than you don’t have any worry.. but there is always that chance.
But even a fuse blowing can ignite fumes.
I’m not sure what avenues you actually have on the solo skiff but it might be worth investing in at least a little separation of gas to electrical… maybe some inginuity.
Most factory boats are designed for separation. Solo skiff is kind of unorthodox.
The Windy app is one of my favorites to use. Good to look at the seas before heading out. One of the good ones to use is for fog. We were out overnight and were all ready to head out and the fog was so thick, I could only see 200’.
