      There was already clarity. Which is why LSU players have been text messaging insiders saying that the lefty was going to be the starter. The loss of Myles is a big hit to depth more than it is anything else.

      Myles was going to be a backup. Period.

      If MAX Johnson takes the job now and is successful then why do y'all continue this bs about Brennan coming back this year or getting another year by Medical Redshirt. Truthfully with Johnson playing this season and Nussmeyer being the backup and Walker Howard (#1 QB in the Country) coming in next season Brennan at some point becomes a problem. If you groom a player like Johnson and Brennan comes back you do NOT give him the job because that definitely sends the wrong message to everybody else. Brennan needs to deal with reality and move on. He should get healthy and transfer elsewhere. LSU has to move on and develop QBs who can give continuity to the position. Brennan has missed his window and sometimes truth is harsh but LSU needs to develop and play these young QBs.

      I hate it for Myles Brennan. But at the same time his main focus should of been on football not fishing tournaments. That's already telling me he is not taking football seriously bcuz he got injured during fishing not football. He wanted to wait til fall camp to build chemistry with the players smh Myles Brennan. That's showing me he don't really care about winning a championship for LSU. Give me Max Johnson hear on out not Myles

      I'm a Mississippi boy. I like Myles… when he played in 3 games he had some crazy stats… boy can ball but he is injury prone.. he can ball but maybe Max can get it done. If defense can stiffen up and offense can get the run going Max will be fine.

      Steve Ensminger built a QB juggernaut at LSU, the O haters trashed Ensminger incessantly for being Orgeron's OC. You know, the greatest offensive coordinator LSU has ever known. Ensminger completely changed the QB room from Les Miles' low IQ no talent qbs save for a couple of backup plan transfers in Mettenberger, and Etling, to NFL caliber talents top to bottom.
