Nice catches Greg! A lot of the bass in there may be on beds. That would explain the short strikes. They may have just been chasing the Chatterbait off the bed. Good video man!

Hey Greg! Here's a tip for u. When a bass takes your frog don't set the hook right away. Reel down until u feel the fish load up on your rod n then hammer down on them.

Hi, Greg. I've caught some one eyed bass too. Some have been in surprisingly good shape, for a "visual feeder". Shows just how adaptable bass are, or at least some of them. I even knew of a completely blind bass (cataracts) that was in great body condition. I was able to observe her enough to see her: sleep, attempt to spawn, and hunt. That one fish taught me quite a bit about certain aspects of bass hunting behavior. Cheers.
