This time of year, throw that A-rig deep and keep it down there. 16-22 feet, over rock piles if you can find em, and slllooowwwww roll it.

Fishing after a storm. I would recomment using bigger baits. Not swimbaits but depends on the situation. I would throw anything less than 4 to 6.5 inches lure and catch the biggins. Even small ones will eat your lure. But i like my swimbaits to be at least 4 to 4.5 inches. Its not a big profile nor a small profile. That way anything will eat it just like your A Rig!!

Buddy of mine and I were out there also on Sunday. Conditions were dream worthy with the lake sitting like glass! Yet….it was rough! Not even a nibble for us after running all over oak shores out to the main. Throwing EVERYTHING…if I had a sink I'd a thrown that too! lol Berryessa seems to be a hot and cold lake some times. It's either on…or it's really really off. Thanks for the vid, hope to see you out there sometime.

Hey Greg, I noticed for your spinning set up in this video you are using your Shimano Stradic set up which you have always used for years and you were using a Abu Garcia combo in a lot of your videos before this one, did not past the test? I love my Shimano Stradic, in fact you inspired me to purchase one and spend the money on it and I have both the Stradic FK 2500HG and Stradic CI4 C3000HG and they both perform well. Just curious of what you thought about the Abu Garcia Revo Ike Spinning Reel? I also purchased this year Shimano Curado DC, which is an awesome reel. Your videos over the years have helped me not only catch more fish but to purchase gear that last. Thank you sharing your knowledge and what gear you use, it helps for sure! BTW… That was a hog! Wished we could of seen it in your boat anyway that is fishing. Good luck this year on the tournament trail.
