  1. As a Mets fan, my favorite season of the 2010s is 2015. I was in left field for game 1 of the NLCS. Matt Harvey started and the Mets won, but Kyle Schwarber hit a ball to right center that is still going.

Which season of the 2010s brings back the most memories for you?

  2. Wildest decade of baseball
*Royals won first world series in 30 yrs
*Cubs won first world series in 100yrs
*Nationals won their first world series ever
    * Giants dynasty
    *Astros (alleged) dynasty
*No Yankees in the world series (only ever decade this happened)

  3. my favorite season in the 2010s was none of them because seattle never sniffed a playoff berth the whole decade 🙂
although my parents are giants fans so it was fun watching their dynasty

  4. That 2016 World Series has to be one of the greatest series in the history of the sport.

Also, I think that Dee Gordon's HR after Fernandez's death was the 16th of his career

  5. Dodger fan here but 2010 I was following but I was getting more into music and the Dodgers where bums but i remember a bit, 2011 I was so mad at Frank McCourt and the Dodgers playing in empty stadiums was depressing so I got more into movies, while the WS was popping I was trying to finish Apocalypse Now, 2012 I started to watch a bit more but not religiously and was not following the mlb much also i was balancing graduating hs staring college , 2013 I was watching more Dodgers (not much mlb) but then my parents couldn't afford cable so no TV 2014 Magic Johnson did that deal with TWC now Spectrum so no games and that year I had a horrible case of having my head up my ass and was more focused on my other hobbies but i did follow a bit (I remember posting about Clayton Kershaw pitching his no no, 2015 I honestly only followed the opening game but being lazy and again my parents not being able to pay the cable yeah, but i was feeling empty then in 2015 after seeing my old baseball cards and vhs tapes, the prodigal son returned and harv been flowing baseball like crazy again since, I also didn't go to a game during that time (I live 2/3 from la and was mostly unemployedduring that time) so since 2016 I've rediscovered my love for beisbol

This was an important time for me. I was discovering myself, I was so in the closet, as a trans woman, and I was living in Alameda California. The hype around this team was something special. Looking back though, it is hard to go back and watch those 2010 Giants because of Maga Trump fan and all around transphobic douche, Aubrey Huff, was their main offense.

  7. 2010-2014 was the best year for me in baseball due to the fact that i am a giants fan, winning 3 world series in 5 years is an insane milestone the giants had underrrated players who helped us along the way like edgar renteria, michael morse, travis ichikawa. In the other hand we also had buster, sandoval, pence, crawford who all exceled in hitting and defense and dont foget about the bullpen like matt cain, tim lincecum, mad bum, etc. 2014 mad bum tho…. dude was not human that world series by far the best pitching i ever seen in my lifetime that 0.43 ERA in a postseason record maybe an unbreakable record since now we have advanced statcast, power hitting is very popular, international stars and a pitch timer as well makes the record unbreakable.

  8. Love the vid, only critique is 2016 World Series didn’t trade games. It was a 3-1 comeback that is easily the greatest stretch of games of my life

  9. Im a Nats fan, this decade was such a fun ride. 2012 was the fun young team that had such terrible playoff heartbreak same with 14 and 16 and 17. By then it was "This team is so talented but will they ever win?". 2019 will forever hold a place in my heart and I will never forget that run.

  10. This decade is nothing but frustration for me as a tigers fan. We had such high aspirations at the beginning of the decade and the roster to do it and never did. Then but the end of the decade, we were one of the worst franchises in the sport and all of our fan favorite were gone for a bag of peanuts and couple nickels.

  11. As a Nats fan, this entire decade was one of the most insane rollercoasters ever:
2010: One of the worst teams in baseball
    2011: Rise to 81-81
2012: Best record in baseball and a nightmare playoff choke
    2013: Fall to mediocrity
2014: Go back to being a top tier contender and choke in the playoffs again
    2015: Fall back to mediocrity
2016 & 2017: Back to being a legit contender and choke in the playoffs once again
2018: Underperform with one of the best lineups ever and fall back to mediocrity. Watch your franchise's biggest superstar leave for a division rival.
2019: Start off terribly then get hot and win the World Series off the back of numerous insane comebacks
