Sorry forgot to give you some tips before the tourney…white zoom flukes in 5"-7" and bluegills type lures are the key to that lake.
That happened to me yesterday. I was having fish eat my dropshots and wouldn't hook up. It was sad.

That water is super low right now. Was there at Camanche on the 27th. Clearlake is low too. Low enough that my buddy is talking about extending his boat ramp this year at Clearlake. Ugh we need some water.

I had the best day of Bass Fishing ever on Sunday. Caught 10 fish on beds all decent sized. Also caught two 4lbers the day before. Not sure if the were on beds but they were caught in about 4ft of muddy water. It’s that time!!! Nice video! It’s always exciting to see a notification of your uploads. Keep up the great work!!!

When you first came into that flat where you said you saw a big female, that's when the big soft swimbait comes into play. Most of those big females will roam over the flat before they move up to begin the spawning process. A Hudd works great but my personal fav for this is a 8 or 10 in magdraft in white back shad or if the water is ultra clear like on Comanche I like MB Gizzard. Avoid getting sucked into going to the bank. Those females will roam out towards the middle of the flat. You just fan cast working your way slowly in. I'm on the tva chain and this time of year this is how I'll fish almost every time I go out until a big population has moved onto the bed

25 BUCKS TO FISH Camanche. I quit going there and also Amador yeeears ago. I'll go to Melones and pitch a jig to the cliffs or go to Ho-gan for Stripers before I pay to fish those other 2 places.
If you need to catch fish on Camanche, go with a Hopkins spoon.
