The Rapids were the 2nd best team at the end of the league last season. They're kind of scary. I think a lot of people will overlook them, so I predict them getting a playoff spot in 2020.
As opposed to the nonsensical cup that is a waste, the All Star game being joined is a brilliant idea that should be fun.

Chicago Fire should be relagated for this disgrace
I was excited for this podcast episode until I was reminded about the Fire’s rebranding. The new logo and colors have really extinguished the fire in my heart.
Should get more home grown players the league will grow more and more fans …I guess in every team should have at least 80 %home grown and the rest from. Out side and try to get young players from the out side bit more younger it's Koo to have antiques too cuz they are like teachers but not to many …they are millions of young talented people….

1. Wiebe goofier than usual and Gass more restrained than normal. Fun change of pace. Good episode overall. No Thanksgiving episode!?! Great, now I have to talk to my family (over at r/MLS).
2. In-cre-dib-ly excited for the next ASG. 'bout time! The reverse is true about the Fire rebrand. From a cool, distinctive crest to a complete mess. A slap to the face of their supporters. Also, we generally call it "soccer" in the US and Canada. Why change it to FC? I will never understand this FC stuff in MLS.
3. Nashville looks incompetent in constructing a roster.
4. I hated Padraig Smith's signings until he changed his gameplan to "distressed assets" and now I'm all about his signings. This is a very smart and exciting, young CB pairing that they got pretty inexpensively AFAIK. They are not too young or inexpensive. They have both played multiple seasons in the league, it's not like they are in over their heads.
5. Sargent would have gotten between 13-18 goals last season. Zardes brings more to the table than Sargent does right now for the national team. Sorry. If you are hitching your wagon to Zardes you are doomed though. Sargent can develop into a player that Zardes can only dream off. Both are pretty ineffective against top-tier competition.
6. Doyle seemed really stoked about the intro but it was super annoying.
7. It's sad BWP and Robles are leaving. End of an era. Both class acts.
Strange scenario time: If I had to take any MLS player and to meet an alien race that just landed on Earth and I would pick Luis Robles to be the ambassador, no hesitation. He would be calm, measured, smart, thoughtful, selfless and decisive. Robles is awesome. I look forward to seeing what he does after he hangs up his GK gloves.
8. Love Gass giving props to Joseph. He was so fun to watch. Also, I like the anecdote about Olave not knowing who McBride was because he didn't bother doing the homework because he believed no one could match up against him. He wasn't wrong. He was made in a lab. Crazy athlete.

Zero interest in MLS AS game. It was here in Portland and still didn't attend. Utterly pointless endeavor.
I'm a Fire fan and the thing I hate most is the change to FC. I watch European football but I still love the fact that we call it soccer just like a few other countries in the world. Who cares what the euro snobs think, euro snobs are not fans of MLS and we shouldn't have to cater to that crowd. Hats off to Nashville for keeping it SC.

Chicago Fire FC new logo is in my opinion too simple that it makes it ugly, the big c logo was way better at least implament the C in the middle to make it feel like its Chicago Fire and not a completely different team
