Alister was concentrating too much on his opponent (with his back to the ball for several seconds) rather than first and foremost keeping his eye on the flight of the ball. He could have been involved in meeting that cross and clearing/ heading the ball………………..much earlier than when it fell to Morelos’ feet.
He'll learn. Ange will make sure of that.
Montreal and Vancouver produce good players unlike TFC. TFC can’t recognize a good player. That’s why they let go of Shaffelberg for nothing !

Aj is crushing it for us at Celtic, and has become a real fan favourite for his on field ability and personality. Hopefully there are more elite Canadian players out there that would suit the playing style that Ange Postecoglou has installed, as future signings for the team.🍀

Love him ,said before the weekend wont be long until he starts racking goals up and then he scored . He finds himself in some great offensive positions ,he really is top class a bit of an enforcer as well ,but what I like about him most is like nearly all Ange signings he just seems like a really down to earth nice humble human being

No chance Johnston will be going anywhere in the summer. Celtic are 9 points clear at the table and the winners get automatic champions league qualification. At the very least he will want to play against the biggest clubs in Europe before moving onto a premier league club.

Came in to replace someone who many said was a phenomenal player in just 3 months hes surpassed what the man he was brought in to replace hes an amazing player with a fantastic work rate and from interviews seems like just an all round great guy hes loved at our amazing club already AJ🇮🇪💚
What's impressed me most about Johnston is his strength on the ball. He always seem to emerge from duels with possession, often when it looks like he has no right to. A great attribute in any position but especially for a full back

AJ is a star in Glasgow he along with the players Ange brought from Japan have settled very quickly and they get what Glasgow Celtic are all about.

I'm glad wee Josip threw his toys out the pram. Johnston for me is a far better player. Josip had a long contract, so imagine talking about the club not trying enough to keeping him. Johnston has been excellent and love his whole attitude. After seeing him in the World Cup I had no doubt he’d fit in. As for him moving anytime soon, I’d very much doubt it. He will be playing in the champions league the biggest stage of all and will surely want to test himself there and let other clubs see what he can offer. Finally, is Alex suggesting that Scotland is not in the UK? Maybe I picked him up wrong.
With all due respect to Alistair and Celtic… One could easily argue the Scottish Premiership is a level below MLS… in more than one facet; level, teams, facilities, players, salaries, sponsorships, etc. There is absolutely no competition in that league. Just look at the history, no team outside of Rangers or Celtic have won the league SINCE 1984–85!!
The only benefit playing for Celtic/Rangers provides is getting into European competition and getting closer on the radar of other European clubs. However, these days it really doesn't matter, there are ex-MLS players who are now shining in Europes top 5 leagues (Scotland is not in that category).
