Shows how amateur the refs are in our game. Any organisation worth anything would monitor these sort of stats and optimise added time to align with the standard across Europe. No wonder people show our league no respect
ccv is not as complete a player as van dyke ..but i think hes more than equal in terms of his defensive qualities..ball carrying, distribution,ect he woul;d need to go a bit more . but for me ccv is awesome

I find the story about GG to Urawa completely ridiculous. I could turn out to be wrong, because the Reds have probably the worst team management in the entire J.League and a long record of signing players they dont need. However, Urawa had a horrendous year last season in terms of revenues, so theyre not exactly in a position to be offering big money. Two years ago (ie before Covid!) they signed Danish international Kaspar Junker, for under E 2 million. That is essentially the guy GG would be replacing. So if this really is a genuine "offer", it cant be for much over 3 million even if you believe Giakoumakis is a better player (debatable, at least imho). Meanwhile, what has Urawa to offer GG? The team is in chaos, and almost all of their veterans are retiring or should have retired already. They havent a prayer of winning any titles in 2023, and it will take a heroic rebuilding job to even make them competitive NEXT year.
To be perfectly honest, this sounds like a fantasy that some Daily Record journo dreamed about after a plate of stale sushi.

I thought the phone joke was great but you surpassed it with the one about Peter Lawell in reference to the head man at Monza. The only thing I know about Monza is the F1 track! I just hope this is a made up story. It did appear in the Daily Ranger after all and we as Celtic fans can't believe anything that shows up in that pitiful rag. What happened about all these big clubs chasing him? He played in a World Cup Final for goodness sake and dominated a Brazilian winger who plays for Real Madrid! And we let him go for a measly £7 million? This better not be true or it is a complete disgrace on Celtic's part. This is our chance to get big money for a player. I hope we're not going to blow that chance big time.
