  2. First there was saying that john williams is the best filmcomposer of alltime then there was gustavo dudamel saving that john williams is in same league as beethoven, mozart, bach in the future there maybe saying he was the goat and i agree

  3. This is unforgettable that the tradition classic orchestra can cooperate with the composing conductor, who also a screen music player!!

  4. This is great, John Williams is definitely one of the greats not only because of his blockbuster hits, but his musical vocab is so rich and also the lines he writes are so catchy and yet both simple and complex at the same time, I like his use of polychords and chromaticism and also his use modal writing. Also he modulates like no other film composer!!! His writing can be so fantastical, dark, sad, melancholic, triumphant, happy

  5. 35 mins in and it only now donned on me that Williams was 88 here!!!! 😳😳😳😳
He's now 90, we need to treasure him that much more, could be he won't be with us longer for much longer 😨😨😨

  6. This orchestra is just on a different level. Combined with this legend of a composer… with these legendary compositions… be still my heart.

EDIT: I need to either stop listening to this recording or stop commenting.
