  1. Berhalter ball was painful to watch. However, Berhalter turned into prime Guardiola when facing against Mexico lmao.

  2. Haha, he still doesn't get it. MENTALITY was his PRIMARY issue; he never built it. Mentality of wanting to win, able to win, and fighting across all 6 years, not just the last few months of his tenure. He doesn't get it that his tactical rigidity accelerated his downfall. He just doesn't get it.

  3. It is such factual nonsense Ghana had the youngest team at the World Cup in 2022 at an average age 24.7 – the USMNT had an average age 25 years.

  4. If you site that your the only concacaf team to get out of the group, wouldn’t that be a sign that concacaf is incredibly weak? That would mean that these other nations league and gold cup accomplishments aren’t very impressive

  5. Much respect to Gregg…not everyone’s cup of tea, but someone who led the USMNT through a mostly successful and exciting period.

  6. Gregg Berhalter was definitely responsible for the poor off the ball movement and poor passing. He was on the field playing, as opposed to standing on the sideline.

  7. Unreal that Sebi interviewed him after Sebi deliberately told the incident of Berhalter & Rosalind from a biased perspective where he purposely left off that Rosalind hit him in the face first and both were drunk and thus without capacity. Salazar & Herc said he had a "history of domestic violence."

  8. Gregg was a bad coach in the sense that his tactics were focused on high-pressing with zero focus on possession and playing real soccer, plus he never used a 10 which is unacceptable. Otherwise, he played the people that fans wanted, minus Gio at the World Cup, which was a big mistake regardless of his training or form.

  9. If he could have been a player recruiter for USA he would have done very well, went from almost all mls players to almost none, but tactically he sucked

  10. He was a good grown up for the kids. He was a bad coach once they matured. Yelling out another score in the middle of a game is loser mentality when all you should focus on is winning.

  11. I think he is a mid level coach. When it’s time to compete in the elite level he doesn’t have the competence for it. No a bad a coach tho his numbers are not great but they’re not bad
