Our high school soccer team had our own field adjacent to the football field. Some years we would play on the football field for big occasions like senior night, and it wasn't an issue because our soccer season was in the spring while football season was in the fall, so the lines were gone or super faded and it hadn't really been used in 6 months or longer. We were fortunate to have an actual soccer field and good support, especially for a public county school in the middle of TN.
The 2nd half seemed to be a testament to the trust the wingers and forwards have in defensive coverage. Typically I have a few gasps every game when we cough up the ball in our own half. Most of my exclamations were at all of the good chances we created in the game. Both the Robinsons are a breath of fresh air with their positioning and speed. Adams has a Philipp Lahm-esque awareness to read the game and track back. Our ability to dribble and pass out of tight spots was great and allowed our wing backs to overlap to great effect.
The argument for not having VAR is sooooo dumb like think about it all u need is a tv in the stadium that has the tv channel the game is and just tell the camera people to replay the foul on tv
Ariola is not mathew hopee that juggle with the ball n got a great ball hug cause hopee can do a whole lot with the ball on the air n on the ground too
The referee was clearly in over his head. A red card foul is a red card foul whether it happens 20 seconds into the game or in 90+ minutes stoppage time.
Arriola and Zardes showed they do not have the quality to play in the USMNT. I realize USSF/MLS/SUM impose their Minimum MLS Content quota on the USMNT roster/lineups…..and GGG will do whatever his USSF/MLS/SUM masters command him to do; but, right now, the only MLS players showing they have the quality to be on the 23 man roster, much less start, are Ricardo Pepi, Miles Robinson, Matt Turner and Kellyn Acosta (backup 6).
After the January trade window, there's a pretty good chance Pepi and Robinson are playing in Europe.
In fairness to Pulisic, if he has the midfield we did tonight and them playing freely like they did in the 2nd half, Pulisic is going to play like he does at Chelsea.
Adams got a busted lip that he had to come off the field… and no red card…. nor yellow… not even a foul? CONCACAF is a joke… bad referring week in week out.

There’s gonna be so much verticality with this USMNT, we’re eventually gonna get tired with all of the verticality.
