      The reports are that Gio Reyna 🇺🇸 will be back in roughly 2 weeks for Dortmund and that the injury is NOT serious!

      That means he is questionable for the USMNT 🇺🇸 March window. Much better than expected as yesterday we thought he was completely out.

      Greg is lucky these guys are having success with their clubs. USMNT fans and critics can sense how lucky they are to be close to claiming their spot in Qatar. And there's still a scenario that would see them watching at home. Good luck to the squad and it's fans.

      Although CCV didn't play bad, it seems his form is slipping a bit. It could be that he's needs a bit of a break. He plays 90' every match at CB for the Hoops, and Celtic not only has league matches, but also Cup and European matches. So, there could be some fatigue. (I know: excuses, excuses.)

      If USA doesn't qualify again, it isn't going to be because Reyna is out on the DL again. Nope, it's going to be because of a coach that insists on having as many mediocre league soccer players on the usmnt as possible. Enjoy.

      Just an FYI, you are hanging the flag the wrong way in the thumbnail. The blue must always be on the left (or closer to the flag pole if flown). So even if hanging downwards, the blue is still on the left. You have it on the right.

      Filippo, great rundown. Pulisic's game was strange, what WAS he playing? I watched that game and he was sometime good, sometimes "meh." One of the problem for us is that Tuchel thinks he can slot him anywhere he happens to need a body upfront or in midfield. I guess when you're making $7 mill a year, and have some ability, you do what the coach wants. But it doesn't make for a smooth transition to the USMNT — I am sure Tuchel is REALLY worried about that. I'd love to hear the conversations Greg and Thomas have — assuming they have conversations. Let's get a wiretap going!! I can hear him now — "Greg, we're paying this guy big money, and I have trophies to win and I need him when and where I need him, so it's not my problem. Auf Wiedersehen!!"

      Christian seemed slower and with a weaker touch, but that's maybe because he played some pretty intense minutes in the Club Cup, where he looked good, subbing for an injured Mount — who, by the way, they clearly miss. But you are dead right about Lukaku, he was a statue out there. It's a failing experiment, if not a failed one at this point.

      And you are right about this — Berhalter does not like Brooks, so there it is. Maybe Brooks reminds Berhalter of himself: tall and slow.

      Pefok now has 20 goals in the Swiss league. Yeah, it's the Swiss league, but still. He should be called in instead of Zardes as a #9, but Berhalter bleeds Columbus Crew yellow.

      Your comment about Augsburg was hilarious. But who in Pepi's camp, if anybody, thought this move was a good idea? Or was it just about the money? If this move sets the kid back, there is a special circle in hell for his handlers.
