Japan played better than us for almost the entire match but squandered their chances, we certainly got a bit lucky tonight.

Getting excited over a 90th minute winner after being totally outclassed by a Japanese B team. Haha it would do more harm making the WC and getting flogged than not making it. This generation is of such poor quality. Its gone past embarrassing, its disturbing.

Great result. Defended really well. But the performance was pretty worrying in general. I still can't understand how Massimo Luongo or Adrian Segecic weren't even selected. Luongo would have to be our best central midfielder behind Irvine and Segecic out performed every single A-league player in the national team so what does he have to do just to get into the squad?
And Teague isn't quite ready yet atleast not to start. Some of the selections are a bit sus. We got out of jail with this one, very lucky.

Can someone ask Aziz to cease with the histrionics when he goes down after a tackle.
He's a good player and will be a much, much a better player when he gets up (and quickly) and immerses himself in the game rather than wasting time and energy appealing to the ref for a free. Much more valuable if he did that.
