It seemed to all that the midfield options were great at the start of last season. Looking ahead it's beginning to look weak for next season as the other mob focus on a tough midfield. Seriously needing confidence boost among the squad

I'm in my mid-40s now, but I remember as a kid looking up to guys like Roy Aitken & Paul McStay in a different way from the flare players.
They just seemed more mature, and you get the impression that AJ probably helps a lot of the younger guys by being down to earth as well 👍☘️

Think you make a very good point about an interview with the Doctor and Wee Sean. This type of interview would help manage fans expectations when it comes to youngsters breaking through. The young lad who played against Aberdeen at Pittodrie, had two great touches (max 10 seconds) and I’m thinking he’s the next Paul McStay. Obviously BR sees him more than me but I would great to get some indication of what is expected of young players to get in the squad, get on the bench, and ultimately start a game.

Bringing Doohan and Tierney back is such a high I.Q move from Celtic because bringing back your academy players after they have gained external experience buys us something most clubs can’t buy, which are players who are actual fans with desire, commitment and connection to the fans. Good luck to young Doohan and I wish this tremendous young man an excellent second stint.
