US has 4 years to learn how to play football. It's not just having the stamina to keep going for 90 minutes. Netherlands showed if you allow the US to have the ball the team has no idea what to do. First half I almost fell asleep. Not used to my country having only 30% possession and not leaving our own half. For the next world cup the US needs 3 things. A clinical striker, know how to play possession based football and no offense a better defensive duo. Your center backs are a liability.
This man made the group stage FAR more difficult than it needed to be, and was completely figured out by Netherlands and offered no solutions. Nice guy, horrible coach. GET OUT BERHALTER

Our last game in this tournament was always going to be a loss… for every team but one. I don't mind that. I don't mind losing to a team the level of the Netherlands.
I do mind how we lost it. One could argue that Berhalter showed more guile, maybe even a little sophistication in the group stage than anyone expected. But in the round of 16 he reverted to type with a naive and uncultured showing. Not to mention a blatantly ignorant lineup choice. This manager did not put his very talented squad in a position to win an eminently winnable match.
The USMNT deserves a quality manager. Gregg, if you really love your players as you say, step down.

Herc was 100% right. I want Berhalter gone. Herc could coach this team better. Let Herc and Lebeouf coach the USMNT and I bet that they'd do better.
