Seems like the players added are not ones to panic if there is a bad 10 minutes or a bad week…cool heads and guts I like them!!!
I don't get the UK's obsession with age in their players. It's like once they hit 30, they are washed. That may have been true 20+ years ago., but today's players are extending their playing life with nutrition and proper training. Liverpool was questioning extending Mo Salah because of his age despite him having one of his best(if not best) season last year. Embrace the veterans. You aren't winning a league or getting promoted with a bunch of 19-22 year olds.
Okonkwo, Brunt, Max, Longman or barnett (maybe mclean because of captain)should be the only players from last year who start imo. If parky starts his old lineups with 1 or 2 new players and then subs 3 of the new guys on at 70mins i will be angry.

I'm one of those questioning the money paid for Kieffer Moore for what many are saying is an injury prone player in decline, but I'm willing to wait and see how Kieffer plays out over the year. I do agree with your assessment that Wrexham needs proven Championship quality players to bridge the huge gap from a League One to a promotion contending squad in this league.
I'd love to see Wrexham sign Nathan Broadhead even if the price seems a little high. On the other hand it isn't my money is it?

Rich, I disagree – I think we are buying players to stabilise us in the Champ. rather than to get into the Premier League
I was similar – had a slightly different structure, so had Windass playing a higher AM instead of Dobson, (sort of 3-4-1-2) and Hardie up front with Moore. but all the rest the same – with potential used subs of Dobson, Cacace and Thomason. Agree with Thomason thoughts, but do think he will be an integral part of the team . . . . but I also think Rodriguez has been brilliant in his contributions – he is the selfless player as you spoke of Moore. Think picking starting XI would be more difficult if Smith and Rathbone were 100%
Parky like his hard running players. It's not just interesting to see how fast this new set of players gels but also how tactically astute Parky is in this division. Parky seems somewhat derided at this level, but I think he'll step up with the backing he has.

I think your signing players that can be squad players in a promotion push but aren't necessarily good enough on there own to actually get promoted. Tbh you'll get there eventually maybe next year maybe the year after
Last season we grinded out results away from home, slender wins being great defensively ,sitting back alot and midfield dropping deep with the wingbacks. This season be interesting if same thing happens and the midfield/wingbacks drop deep and let teams come onto us or we push further up and try get at the home opposition. Hopefully it's the latter.

I willingly admit I don't know a ton about soccer, but I spent all last season seeing people, including a lot of well known Wrexham podcasters, talk about how a striker who did doesn't score is a waste of a space, even if they're doing exactly what the coaching staff are asking him to do. How is it going to be different for Moore?
