So poor from De Zerbi. Clear that he started it, and continued it when Koné was walking away. Koné will grow up soon and pushing him this way is not a good approach for a young guy who’s trying to show maturity in not engaging in a fight.
He should of went to the Netherlands instead England/france
There are times when you just take it from your boss, and there are times where you need to tell you boss to shove it. That incident seemed more like bullying from De Zerbi than constructive criticism, so go on Ismael to give it back to him. Toxic environments don't work and the Manager will find his arse out the door if he keeps that up.
Unprofessional and unnecessary
For sure doesn’t look good on the club, players looking at this vid thinking maybe OM is not for me
OM put it out as propaganda for the type of big club they want everyone to think they are. They are a big club but they aren't in that tier. Still I hope they do well with Cornelius playing every week!
Pouvre chochote kone
Now Sassuolo has a good bench warmer
She is a realest, thanks for pointing it out
This is normal De Zerbi. This happens at every club he's been at, its a triggering line when he says call your agent, 90% of people would want spark De Zerbi out for that disrespect in front of everyone but as a pro earning great money Kone has to just not take the bait. Good learning experience for him
Kone wouldn’t be where he is if it wasn’t for Wilfried Nancy, where he (Nancy) almost gave up on him, and admitted he learned patience as a coach. Now that Kone isn’t protected by Nancy, he’s discovered the real world of professional soccer and it’s lack of patience. There are plenty of Kone’s in Europe, hope he can step up his game, otherwise he’ll be without a club sooner rather than later.
That’s absolutely not how we saw it in Marseille. You can’t just assume that you sign in a club and you made it. This is taken out of context, they released 4 episodes and he demands the same thing from everyone. Whether your name is Rabiot or Greenwood. In the same episode he had a crack at the under 18 players for not giving their best at training.
De Zerbi also said that he is a good kid and that one of his big regrets was not getting the most out of his talent.
Then there is the obvious fact that Kone was a disappointment on the pitch.
Every player wants stability, but most clubs can't afford stability due to pro/rel and Europe qualification. If he wanted stability, MLS (outside of Montreal) is more stable and still… About 25% of clubs change managers during or after the season.
Goes to show you what a bad coach can do to a player. They get inside your head like Mourinho with Pogba and just make your life miserable. Regardless of what you are pulling down as a player that is work place bullying and should not be accepted. Real knuckle dragging behavior by de Zerbi. Get his agent on the line Marseille and show him the door as have other clubs.
De Zerbi has been telling this guy to put it up there and he keeps not listening. I have been watching it almost every day since he joined. If he keeps not listening he is out as he had his chances. With De Zerbi and Marseille you need to spit blood even during training sessions or you are out. Choose
