Bielik has been solid & loyal he could of skipped off
when we got relegated but stayed now we are flying high

Good solid defender but there are levels now and were on an upward trajectory if ben davies re-signs we will have 4 central defenders who are either better than bielik or have a higher ceiling than him it's nothing personal he's been a great servant for the club it's just a sign the club is in much better health than it has been for a long time Chris Davies must of seen something in him to suggest he wasn't good enough for where he eventually sees the club going and that's the premier league

A class act, gutted but happy he’s gone to a good club
Decent player. Really like him. However, like Alfie May, he no longer fits the system or level the club perceives they are at. If we were to get promoted again, expect at least 50% of the current squad to be out. It’s brutal. Personalities like Alfie are a rarity in this level of football, and Blues fans love that passion in a player, just like they loved the commitment of Bielik. I know you are upset about him going to the Albion, but look at it as a good financial decision for us, and somewhere Bielik will get playing time. Enjoy the journey Tom
I rated bielik but with the way the club is going and the quality we have in the position he plays he just isn't good enough any more I just don't get the price that's been suggested especially to a championship side aswell
No time for sentiment we are a club going forward. Bielik wasn't going to get a game so we have got some money for him. Wish him well but get a grip we have moved on and it's not unfortunately. This is the best time in 50 years being a Bluenose fair play to WBA they will need him…

Really like him. Top player and character who'll be missed. Guess Bielik and May going is the sign of our improvement overall. Actual players who we both rate and like leaving, as opposed to Hogan, Leko and the likes who left with barely a murmur. Agree about preferring if we'd sold to someone else, but makes total sense from his POV and can see why he's gone there. Whether it's Ben Davies or anyone else, I trust CD and the club to bring in someone better to replace him.

Was a solid and loyal player but realistically he's not good enough to compete for either the center back or midfield position. We need players who can compete for these places. I like Bielik and good luck to him and I wish he was better and could have competed but he's not. As for WBA, to be honest I don't mind. I'm a Bluenose but will alway champion Midlands sides versus London and Northern sides, and yeh okay I've been to a few baggies games as I used to know someone with a box there. Whose gonna turn down a box and a 3-course meal?? not me! So good luck to him but personally I'd have liked him to go Derby/Eustace as Derby are my 2nd side. KRO

Looking at it from the player’s side, he’s settled in the midlands, so an opportunity to join a local club would be desirable for him.
I think this also sends a statement. We know the baggies are a great team and they’ll be up and around there come the end of season, the fact Davies and the club are prepared to sell a quality player to a rival contender speaks volumes for what they think about our current squad.
Loved Bielik and wanted him on the pitch. But looking at it objectively, have we missed him not playing? No because the squad is that could to have a Bielik go unnoticed!

It's a shame that such a legendary player didn't receive the game time he deserved but the players in front of him are giants of the game. You can't blame him for joining the Baggies, who have truly signed a legend.
Who cares that we sold him to our rivals we are onto much better things. Selling fodder to your rivals is fine, Villa done it a few times to us. It's what we will be doing more of as we rise to Champions League.
I would have preferred for us to have kept Bielik as number 3 CB. Cashin is a good CB but he's only on loan. I do wonder if this means we buy Ben Davies from Rangers. Great player who even had his teeth knocked out for us. He's too good to be a bench warmer and deserves to be playing every week. It just goes to show the quality of the players ahead of him in defence. For £1m that's a steal.
