He's getting on a bit but I think his relationship with Cooper is the thing which might make it work. They know eachother well and have worked together, and it's only a 6 month loan, if it doesn't work no great loss, but as you say denying a key rival a player and we get a few goals hopefully from him and cover for cheap.
