I'd been looking at our transfers in and thinking 7/10 overall. We're probably better than last year in strength and depth; not as much as I'd like, but at least we're not going backward!
Some of the purchases were really good, but when we heard the failed promises and superficial lies, I felt it dropped to 4/10. Respect for the defence and midfield, but we can't stay up just by defending and going through the season on 0-0 draws or nicking a goal here and there. If DCL and Nmecha do bed in and start scoring…they'll get the 49ers out of jail.
Gudmunsun absolute shite for his country so will fit well at Leeds as we have been good at signing crap players this window wait till we are ten games in and are rock bottom
It's kind of academic really, how good value they were individually, if we didn't use our budget.
