This keeper not good enough he not catch the ball ⚽ and this more risk when keeper head the ball inside the the 18th yard easy can easy considering goals
Blue lion thanks for vividly pointing this horrific flaws in Kepa, the guy does not know how to pick corner kicks in the air, does not know how to close the gap on opponent's attacking our goal like in a 1-1 situation, and his positioning in goal is also in question. I was so elated he was going to be the next Cech.

I'm still unsure by his handling when he dives. His arms aren't even fully stretched. There's too much pushing of the ball that makes me slightly uncomfortable… Let's see.
I think it's a win/win if we sign Mendy. He's reliable enough to rely on as a number 1 for a few weeks if we need him. He offers great competition for Kepa to work hard. And if Kepa climbs out of his poor form, Mendy is a great option for a number 2 to replace Willy. Overall, I don't see many issues here
Massive chelsea fan fear will take awhile to gel together but havertz and werner will get already in my opinion. Mendy seems a ok keeper need to see him keep hold of the ball abit punching will not do well in the league against bigger clubs but what a time to be a chelsea fan and as for rice no thank you still sloppy and gets booked alot few more year he will be better
I think at times the way Havertz receives the ball and then just nonchalantly drops the shoulder or uses his frame to hold the ball then plays the ball through a player is a bit zidane like, obviously he’s well off zizou’s level but he’s still young and if he gets anywhere near that level then he’s a bargain even for a record buy.
Mendy is a good shot-stopper and has the size and agility to come and claim the ball but he seems to still punch the ball more than you’d want especially when a catch looks to be on or even the easier option. The first clip of him on this video highlights this. And a fair few of the saves are ‘one for the camera’ But at least the defenders will know he’ll be coming to try claim the ball nine times out of ten whereas Kepa was too hot and cold, if he was coming for a ball last season he wasn’t claiming it or even getting near it at times.
