me personally the focus should be shifted to rebuilding the national team and giving young players an opportunity Gyan i feel has had his time with the Black Stars and he should be proud of what he has accomplished in his football career and international career playing for the Black Stars and even though he has not been able to win the afcon trophy for Ghana i still think there should be no regrets from him but it is easy to say this, but maybe it is time for some new players to fill his boots and building a team for the future in order to become a competitive side and building around the experienced players like the Ayew's and Partey, and i feel with a new coach there will be new ideas and style of play for the national team hopefully C k Akonnor can be the guy to revive the senior national team. Ghana Football needed an overhaul for some time now and we have seen the overhaul and the appointments that have been i reckon if Ghana can be patient with Akonnor and the team gains a lot of experience then that they could win the afcon by 2025 or 2027 I honestly believe that but saying this i know there will be no patients from Ghanaian fans, but as a Ghanaian do not expect them to win the next Afcon but we will see Ayew appointed as a Captain does not surprise me since he has good leadership skills and can motivate the team based on what I see, Partey not to sure about him since he has been appointed Vice Captain anyway keep up the good work. 💯💯👌
I'm grateful for baby jet for what he has done for Ghana black stars over the years. I was disappointed in Gyan for his behavior and sorry to say but a childish attitude knowing very well that he was not even fit enough for the tournament yet had the audacity to demand captaincy. That's rather selfish as far as I'm concerned. I know most will disagree but I agree coach Appiah giving the captain to the hardest worker on the team in Dede Ayew. The only other player on the black stars that I admire his dedication to the team is Wakaso…I'm a big fan of him. I'm fine with the selection of Partey as a captain. Forever Love Ghana Black Stars!!!
Why did he choose Partey as vice captain? That's what we need to know!
