Yes the 3 points are brilliant and keep the wins coming but I can't help to think that the past few games our performances in the final third arnt up to standard. We either need worldies or deflections. We need to step up our performances last year we were tonking teams by 3, 4 or 5. It would be brilliant if we could now put this right against the mancs!!! YNWA
Couple of weeks back I commented that I don't want Allen to play for Liverpool anymore a couple weeks on and he's shoving those words back down my throat and I couldn't be happier
Its these type of wins that make champions, not at our best but boy did we boss the 2nd half. There's a title in these lads I truly believe it. As for Sunday we will have far too much for the LVGs fraud squad, we're comfortably the best team in the prem at the moment no doubt.
yep tottally agree ive been harsh on allen before but he did deserve it but today the little guy was quality!!
Stevie in the defensive slot with Hendo and Allen ahead!?!? I thought it was stupid, readying to hurl abuse at everyone. But my word did Allen impress me. For the first time since he joined I wanted him on the ball in our attacks. If this time a year ago, you'd tell me I'd be shouting at Coutinho for not giving it to Allen I'd be in stitches laughing. Maybe he isn't the Welsh Xavi, more Iniesta today. Very positive with the ball.

Allen was defo outfield MOTM for me. His work rate was phenomenal, I don't think there's a blade of grass on that pitch he didn't touch.
The weekend has me concerned as we won much the way the Mancs have been winning ( grinding results) and they won the way we have been winning (fast, fluid football).
Make me feel better about our chances Sunday!!!

That second half performance proved how good a manager Rodgers is, his change in formation completely put us in control of the game. It's was great to see Gerrard come on and bring a bit calmness to our play! Bring on the dirty mancs next Sunday! Come on you reds
This is the Joe Allen that we bought, I remember watching him for Swansea and he was very attacking. So glad he's performing for us now, for me he was MOTM in our last 3 league games. Bring on the mugs!!!
