Very disappointing performance by Everton in the first half. We were carved open through midfield by Liverpool player's passes too easily which also led to their goals. Everton fared much better in the second half and our goal was superbly worked and executed. Only 3 minutes added time on the 90 minutes was a travesty of the normal habit nowadays.
Although Everton should take seriously, with the hope of a Wembley visit, all cup-games (League Cup and FA Cup) this season, think we could make many changes for our visit at Wolves tomorrow. Could for example play both Röhl and Iroegbunam in centre midfield and Alcaraz as our attacking midfielder. Rest either Ndiaye or Grealish (or both) and start with Dibling. Could also play Patterson at right back and then O'Brien could play as a centre back. And should start with Barry as our center forward.
What were we expecting… I think we did good but this team spent 400 mil this summer however we bounce back and fight through this season and maybe challenge them with the help of the hill Dickinson atmosphere
Will never win at Anfield with Moyes that’s not being doom and gloom just facts same with the EFL cup we will never get to the final in that with Moyes
