i think they def should try to sign gilmore. doesnt hurt to try. and as far as jaylon smith, i think youre being a bit harsh on him. obviously i dont think they should sign him because they dont really need him nor does he fit the scheme they run. but you are being a little bit harsh on the guy, he's still a good linebacker.
Good video. I'm at an 8 on Baker's shoulder. He has not played well since the Chiefs game.I don't think Baker does well when he's getting rushed and pressured.
First time seeing the show but I liked it. Just to comment on a couple things you said, first off Jalen Smith still has a lot of life left I believe I don't think we can use him but I think he'll get picked up fairly quickly as long as there's not an injury or something we don't know about. Baker Mayfield shoulder I think it's more of an issue than he is letting on but it would literally take a true force of nature to get him not to play a game. People need to relax he had a bad game. Every quarterback in the NFL has a few of those a year. I'm happy that a. We didn't lose when he couldn't hit a receiver all day and b. He didn't turn the ball over even though he was off. There is not a time in the last 20 years I can remember that I think we would have won a game like that on the road in which our quarterback played terrible. So there's actually some positives to take from that game
I'm looking for Baker to have a breakout game. He's about due. Usually when he's highly citisised he comes back with a good game. Although he still needs to become more consistent. He hasn't been missing by much. So without his go to in Landry. it's probably hard for him to get into a rythm.
Well first of all he's going to clear waivers so that means that he has a contract with the New England Patriots and whatever guaranteed money is left on that contract they got to pay so you got to deduct that from anything that the browns would pay him. The same thing with Mr Smith out of Dallas he's getting 9 million guaranteed this year and he's got guaranteed money next year that they have to pay out on his contract so the bottom line is Mr Smith could come in immediately and help them while the cornerback can't because he's got that injury he's not clear to play yet and he has to go through a physical before the browns are even going to try to sign him and he's no help this weekend and he probably won't be any help next weekend so he's probably not going to be available until about the 8th game of the season. So let's not forget the amount of guaranteed money these guys have before something actually happens because no club is going to pick these players up until they clear the waiting period and then his previous club is on the hook for the money and the new club is going to sign him at a major discount
If Baker isn't on point Sunday I would start getting "concerned" about the shoulder. I don't have alot of faith in #2 Case Keenum either. Time will tell in the next few weeks . We have a tough 4 games coming down the pike.
