Both players are only going opposite directions.
But it’s no closer than Bonucci and the last defender inside the box. So should be an easy call that they got wrong. VAR have to use more camera angles. Was obvious when Rangers were deprived of a goal Vs Dortmund at home too; last season.

The second yellow card can't be given for the removal of the shirt, if the goal is ruled out for offside and therefore the goal doesn't stand so neither can the offense for removing the shirt.

The goalkeeper can’t move to his right to attempt the save because Bonucci is in front of him looking like he will get contact. Not saying the keeper would have saved it he wouldn’t but can totally understand it being ruled out.
Everyone forgets that Salerninata one year ago was at the bottom of the table with 0 points and now is capable of going 2-0 against Juve after the first half. The narrative of Salernitana is extraordinary, 10 years ago they were in the Italian "National League", less the one year ago they nearly failed and the new president bought Salrnitana at the last possible minute and he transformed everything.
