I’m with you on Harry Wilson — he’d be a nice addition, but I don’t expect him to set the world on fire straight away. I’m really hoping Bijol performs well for Slovenia and earns his chance. It actually shows how strong we are right now when a player of his quality can’t even get into the side.
I completely agree that keeping the players who are performing sends the right message to the squad — that no matter who you are, if you’re playing well, the manager will reward you.

OK – January Window – I understand why the 49ers would like to see how the team performs and then bring in the right people to enhance the team in the right way…..BUT we knew that they were needed in the Summer transfer window. Let's see what happens. I prefer Eduard Spertsyan because he appears to tick more boxes, although this comes with sanctions issues. So I understand why that might be a problem. I'm not a fan of Wilson/Fulham…Some of our problems are how DF uses his Subs. In the Spurs game, Struijk was standing back too much and allowed the 2nd goal (deflection) instead of shutting him down. For me, I'd have subbed him for Bijol at that time (hindsight? maybe, although I was shouting at the screen at the time), but that's me. Thank you
Two takeaways from the match were – 1) I thought Leeds would lose to the top 10 teams (draw at the best), and 2) their squad is valued at 10x ours and has experience at that level. I THINK the Leeds team are coping with promotion very well, and this is where we should be. It will only get better.
