      Don't get me wrong, I massively rate Makin and Coll and usually enjoy watching them play, but my god when they play each other it is some of the most dull squash on show. They were just hitting length for the sake of hitting length. Little variation in that game.

      Daniel,You are so right.Going to point a rally was ok as long as it was best of 5.This change of the goalposts robs the spectators and lowers the bar for the players

      Is Asal finally growing up? He handled getting his butt kicked with class…finally. His antics have been so vulgar that these classy vets hugely dislike him…and want to beat him so bad. If Asal shows some respect…he will get it back. About time because he's disgraced this great game for wayyyyy too long.

      Gregoire Marche should have let rip like he usually does. Playing the slow game doesn’t suit him. Then again he can’t be a one trick pony if he wants to make the top. He is my new favourite now the general has retired.

      The point of the best of 3 is so the semi or finalists aren’t a shell of their full potential, right? How many times did we see a weary Nick or Greg get to final and have little left after all those best of 5s in a big draw?

      Makin not tight enough there. He reminds me of Coll a couple of years ago – serious fitness and retrieval skills but still needs more work on his touch. Coll has def worked on and improved in that area so deserves his success.

      I feel that Asal was asking Momen after the match to forgive him for the wrong words he said before about him and Momen replied "it's ok"…

      I was there yesterday, and while the squash was very high quality, in terms of the competition it was quite disappointing with every match over and done with at 2-0. Definitely the downside of the best of 3 format last night.

      A question for you guys at squash TV…If you watch the PSA Challenge Tour that Danny Lee sponsors, you notice the camera placement; right behind the glass at floor level; the view is excellent. Can this be done with Squash TV and the tour? The current viewing angles from above don't let the viewers really appreciate the speed of the ball and the movement of the players. Not sure if it's possible with the crowds and camera position.
