We haven't tried to "cheap out". We got it done the only way we could while staying within FFP for this year. We needed to sell Maguire or McTominay, ideally both, in order to go past the 150m or so we've already spent. We've known this all summer, it's just most of our fanbase are too childish and/or stupid to accept it. We got it done and we got it done without breaking the rules, which is great news.

As Sam’s formation,playing Casemiro as a 8 ain’t it…..From the looks of things this season,Casemiro ain’t got the legs again at 31,especially in this his 2nd season in the Prem,a Lge which also has an extra domestic competition to play for.Casemiro should be used solely as a sitting 6 to just break up play.Asking Casemiro to play box to box at this stage of his career,ain’t it….He won’t last the season and to think he has 4 more years on his contract😢

Hopefully he can fit in quickly and we don't suffer more injuries.But against Arsenal we may need to be more Conservative till this teams parts start gelling and Dominating teams.Westham have proven that the old style loading the defence and fast break still works well. Ten Hag may need to play this more Conservative style at times until this team starts running like a machine given another late last minute transfers not allowing United to build understanding between players.

So glad United finally have a ball carrier this is what we have missed this season so far and last . It was a shame that we didn’t see pogba under ETH but was kinda a blessing as he’s been injured. Fans will understand why ETH went so hard for De jong a year ago having a player that can carrier the ball and pass exceptionally well gives the team so much more dynamism going forward.
