I hope we can extend his loan for another season. He’s outstanding for us and integral to our attack
Three weeks ago, Howson said he didn't think Amad was anything special, and compared him to Tahith Chong 'who is also out on loan'. Chong was sold last summer, and suddenly Amad is having a breakout season. Which he was doing three weeks ago. 😋
Absolutely agree with you… I think seeing the season out at Sunderland, will do him and us a lot of good.
Sancho will return soon and Pellestri can be used there too. Give Amad the experience. He will come back stronger and ready, not just to fill the numbers, but to compete for the 1st 11 staring spot.
Need to nurture him.
Him, Pellestri and Garnacho, can make a frightening front 3 in the next 2-3 seasons. Sort out midfield proper for the future and nurture these 3 kids, and we will become unstoppable
Seem to remember a United player on loan leading a Championship team to the Premier League last season…. How did that work out for Garner? United are poor at developing young talent. We're not even sure if Garnacho will stay.
I almost feel like he would be a good back up for Bruno. The positions he seems to take up are like a mirror of Bruno… where Bruno tends to be in the left half space, Amad tends to do the same on the right.

Comeon Stevie. Grealish is a great player. EVERYTIME he gets the ball he’s been very dangerous.Erik is doing a fantastic job but he hasn’t really given individual youngsters a decent run. I’m on the fence with Amad as I don’t think he’ll get a decent run with us. Neither will Pellestri, Elanga or Garnacho. Time will tell Stevie.

I agree with the point that players that come up from the championship typically don’t perform unless it’s for the team they come up with but I think james Maddison is the exception to this and the same with players like and Andy Robertson and some would argue jarrad Bowen last season
