      I don’t want to see christensen anywhere near our first team let alone our overall squad .. he’s prone to making huge mistakes that always end up costing us the match, he gets bullied and crumbles under pressure. He’s the worst defender I’ve seen in a Chelsea shirt.

      Ampadu has a height issue for cb. Burnley will bully him to pieces!! If you don't win those aerial duals you will concede all day long. Corners, free kicks etc will be our downfall. Zouma next to Rudiger is our best partnership. Zouma doesn't lose a aerial dual and rudiger wins his tackles and brings experience. Also you need to look at horse's for courses ie burnley you need aerial strength Zouma, rudiger where is man city more pace and space awareness ie Christensen and maybe tomori.. We have 4 very different CBS which is a good thing

      Yan have you seen much of Clarke-Salter? 22 year old, 188cm left footed quite technical, he's on loan at birmingham I think however championship is more for brute type centre halves. He was on loan at vittesse and played a ton of games for them. He's got another 2 years on his contract I think.

      Tomori and Christensen/Zouma is the best partnership for me. I think our center becomes vulnerable due to the system and try to cover for Alonso/Emerson

      Honestly Christensen is very good on the ball and has very good positioning but until he becomes more physical I just cant see him being good enough to start for us game in game out. Especially when partnered with Ampadu who isn't exactly a commanding areal presence I could see us conceding even more goals from set pieces as wed have very little areal ability in the side. For me Zouma and Tomori has been best for us this season and is still our best cb partnership.

      Peter bonetti has passed away. My favorite goalkeeper of all time. When I was put in goal. I all ways tryed to think and play like him. . Well done football fans . For helping the NHS. Well done Mr A for setting it up. Be safe everone 😐

      I personally think putting azpi and tomori or any other cb and having Reece James and whoever we sign at wing back would be a great defense am I the only one that wants azpi to stay in at cb?

      Yan, I think more than the number of tackles and interceptions, we should look at the number of successful tackles and interceptions…

      Zouma is the only physically dominant center back we have. A Chelsea CB is going to sacrifice his body to block shots several times each game like Terry, Carvalho, Ivanovic, and Cahill did. Christian doesn't fit that mold.

      Getting rid of either Zouma or Rudiger isn't the answer. We need a strong LB and better supporting players in midfield, like Kante or Ampadu. We just need better support for transition, and changing out Kepa.

      At the moment, the combination of Ampadu and Christensen is not physical enough to play together. Our problems with defensive set pieces will only become worse. Tomori and Zouma are better in the air and physically, and maybe a combination of Zouma/Tomori and Ampadu/Christensen will give us both good ball playing abilities and physical abilities

      We don't need a technical CB at the moment what we need now is someone good in the air , strong , leader ect ….. Ampadu is more of a DM .

      This guy love christensen alot I see many time he praising him alot I don't wht kind of a Chelsea fan he is..christensen isn't a Chelsea type player he will be better in Spain or Germany if he continue he will be inconsistent and I don't know wht he see in ampadu this idiot trying to make him look overrated he isn't going to win many aerial duels with that height even tomori struggled its better use him in CDM… And Chelsea have a high chance of signing declan rice in future as a replacemet for jorginho maybe within two yrs so pls 🙏stop making ampadu look overrated just like u guys made reece James now

      Our defense problems was due to systemic adaptation, as we tried to change to more attacking and flexable way of playing. However all the aerial gosls we conceded were mostly due to our player's weaknesses. Especially the lower teams caused problems, because their big guys fought for the ball in the box.

      I love Christensen's propaganda man! Yan, I think Christensen-Tomori played at the Birdge against Nottingham Forest, also Brighton at home, and maybe I'm missing another one…

      So you basically choosing 2 that are best when playing the sweeper role!!!
      And then we complain when an average man united team humiliate us

      AC Just isnt good enough, and hes the most nervous player we have on the ball. SADLY none of our CBs really good enough. We have tried every combination possible and none have worked. They all have Luiz brainfart moments. I do love Rudi. Hes got the character and fight I want all our players to have on and off the pitch. We desperately need a TOP,STRONG LEADER of a CB. Look at all the top teams. Each have a very top leader. The rest of the team are nervous about our defenders. Bring in a leader, add either Ampadu or Ake to him. Keep Rudi, Tomori,AC and sell Happy. s for Lamps talking about liking Ampadu (or any player) what do you expect him to say? The guys shite and Im glad hes gone? lol
      But we hopefully will play Kova and Billy G together who are both great defenders which is a great help.

      Tad bit disappointed you didn't mention Jake Clarke-Salter, left-footed CB who captained England U21's in last summer's European championship or Trevoh Chalobah who is the current England u21 captain

      Tomori is still young and needs to be developed so he needs the playing time to improve. Chelsea should sign a more experience center back along side he tho. I would sign umtiti as a partner for tomori.

      Their is nothing wrong with our defence the biggest problem is the base of our midfield Kante should return their with gilmour and kovacic playing along side him.

      Buy players where we know we have gaps (Winger, LB, and Striker) give the current squad another season before we spend serious money to upgrade at CB and midfield (unless some screaming deal presents itself).

      its pretty simple to fix the defense buy a extremely pacey left back who can cross. then play kante in the makele role

      Ampadu can leave we have the opportunity to bring in a super defender and we are still talking about this trash player, be realistic
