The question is in which players are we interested? We are not reportedly going after fabregas whom we should be snapping up. Rather, we are after Strootman who is injured or after Vidal, Pogba who by no means are going to leave their club. We let Kroos slip when he was almost there. Kroos ,Fabregas may have solved our Central Midfield problems. I can go on and on………….until we sign a decent CM.
Why take a player that already turned us down? Obviously has no desire to play for Man United. Would be yet more wasted money imo, like the Fellaini signing. If he doesn't want to play for Man United in the 1st place, don't go for him. We shouldn't be desperate, we just need the right signings. We really just need 4 or 5 TOP players to compliment the remaining players after some of the players that are in the squad now are cleared out.

Whatever happened to us sniping some Barcelona lads from the academy? Just Fabregas. So much talent in the wings. Let us offer them an opportunity to play for us since LVG looks like he would promote youngsters to the A team.
Depay would be good, Hummels and Reus are great players, but won't leave bvb this summer. Why not go for Garay?
If Cesc is for sale we should try to get him. Other players I would like are Shaw, Strootman, Kramer and Song

I'd like. Reus, Memphis, Lucas/Di Maria, Mangala/Hummels, Kroos/Vidal & Fabregas/Sweinstiger. Buy a new left back next season let Van Gaal see how Buttner is as I think he will improve. MY OPINION

At the moment, Buttner won't do it for a starting LB. But I definitely think LVG could improve Buttner and he could be a great asset for us. I do like Buttner. He's got all the qualities and potential I like to see. He's fast and strong on ball. He's got a wicked cross. Just teach him to mark better and position himself better defensively to shut down any left winger and teach to get the crosses accurate and he could do it for us.
I do not think we will sign anyone from Dortmund.
Don't see were Fabregas would fit in LVG usual system. Is he happy playing a deeper role?

My ideal signing would be Vidal. Strootman is also brilliant, I'm just a bit weary about his injury. If we buy Cesc, we need a mobile more defensively minded CM to partner him, some one like Carvalho or Strootman. Cesc with Carrick or Fellaini isn't gonna work because they don't have the legs to do the running.

We need to address this midfield. Two top quality midfielders needed, dream world Vidal and gundogan. I would also love to see Barkley come in I think he will have a great World Cup and he will just go from there to be one of the best in the game. Then centre back and left back. The improvement of the midfield would take so much pressure of the back 4 and they would grow in confidence. Cant concede if you have the ball ….give nani a run in the side at the start, let's see if he can rekindle the form of 2010-11. Also shinji to get games! However this is dream land, ed wood wood has prob lost his mobile or locked himself in his car or something. We will just hear rumours all summer then sign some Dutch player I hadn't heard of for 30million. Maybe first signing get David gill back! Can't wait till August, one love one united.

These would be great signings for united!
I would prefer gervinho as a winger for utd because he had most assists or joint most assists in the Sirie A this season. I would pick vidal and busquetes because vidal can be box to box and busquetes will sit and protect the back 4. I would rather have varane and mangala as they are both fairly young and are both good defenders! Also they would have a french partnership. Ithink luke shaw has a great tallent for a young player but fabio coentrou provides alot to the game and is very good at going forwards and defending, so i am undecided on this one
I love it when people's 'personal choices' for transfers just happen to be players we've recently been linked heavily with in the media. What a coincidence. It's almost as if none of these people had heard of Depay or Konoplyanka a month ago and are rating them off YouTube and gossip columns. Surely not….

On: Depay is nice, (with a very nice long shot), but I'd prefer Konoplyanka. In defence I'd love to see Garay, if he's not taken already by Bayern.
