  1. The thing about Dest is that he is 20 years old, this can also be said about lots of our players. Up to 24-25 years old, most adult males experience lots of physiological changes (they get their grow man strength). Just wait til Dest hits mid 20s, he's going to be much stronger on defense just from literally being stronger. The same can be said about most of the squad.

  2. Fantasic video with Pete. I think with Pulisic having the freedom to roam around, other teams could probably man mark him easier. But I can defiantly see this working. Great breakdown

  3. Yup that's a nice idea I remember one of the assistant coaches in the US that handled the Philippine Azkals named Thomas Dooley did that 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 but of course yes we scored against an opponent that is much better than us but still we lost or either way we upset them rather having a compact defense using 5-4-1 then we can counter, but executing 3-5-2 on US or 3 4-1-2 because the USA had better wingbacks can also be a good idea

  4. You should try making a video with yank report they are another USMNT channel and he’s pretty chill and an underrated channel

  5. Enjoy these collabs, guys. How about a 4-2-2-2? Double 6 with Adams & McKennie. Dual CAM’s – Reyna & Aaronson. Pulisic up top with Sargeant/Weah. 4-3-3 against CONCACAF opposition that isn’t Mexico.

  6. 343 would be better with gio and pulisic as 2 #10s that was Dortmund’s old formation so they would also be used to it.

  7. In my opinion the best formation for the USMNT is 4-3-2-1 where we get use our strong midfield
    Steffen
    Dest-Miazga/Richards-Brooks-Robinson
    Musah-Adams-Mckennie
    Reyna-Pulisic
    Balogun/Sargent

  8. Can we see a 4-3-3 with our full HEALTHY European based squad before we start thinking we need a 3-5-2 against stronger competition.

  9. Interesting discussion. I’m not yet convinced Hoppe has earned the confidence you seem to have in him as Josh Sargent’s back-up. I’d like to see him show well in his first cap before slotting him into a firm spot on our depth chart.

  10. Berhalter used 3 at the back in possession in his first few games. Remember Dan Lovitz sliding in as a left CB and Nick Lima inverting to DM? 3-2-5 in the attack. 3 CBs is kind of a waste against a single forward. Formation doesn’t really matter anyways. It’s all about covering spaces and fluidity into those covering those spaces/positions

  11. Wow.. I wanna know how the attacking will really be.. the call-up for WCQ… Berhalter has called great strikers up to now.. Nicholas G., S. Soto, C. Meuller.. it's good to see so many good players..
I'm really glad to see what Berhalter is doin'.

  12. When pressing, have 4 back line, as soon as we get the ball back in the middle of the park the 3 up front make their runs. Like bayern Munich 🔥

  13. This was fantastic. I'm not sure Berhalter will play Weah at right wing (or at all). Berhalter consistently plays weaker players and players out of position. Love the accountability aspect, if we want the USMNT/soccer to gain more traction in the US we have to show US sports fans that we actually care about winning things.

  14. I think an Inter Milan styled 3-5-2 could work with our talent and inexperienced players, a midfield with McKennie, Reyna and Adams, Pulisic and Sargent up top. We'd have Musah, Hoppe, and Weah of the bench, with other players like Dike.

  15. Dike is not struggling. Scored a beautiful header yesterday. He is young and getting better. See first game touches. He won like 10 aerial duals and is getting a look by other EPL teams.

  16. I really don't like when they see that didn't work. That doesn't mean it would not work next time around and on different situation, they never understand that soccer is an ever changing game. Everyone falls short to add that factor in the equation.

  17. I really like you guys, but I think you're too negative, it's like you're trying to show how much you know by shitting all over our teams. I've been following the Nats since before 2002, and I really just don't get the negativity.
