  1. Have you ever considered that Kalidou Koulibaly is also senegalese like Mendy? It would be a great partnership. 🙂

  2. Zouma at RCB was because of Chris Wood to neutralize Wood's height and ariel ability Zouma played against him to dominate him and Thiago Silva went left to deal with Ashley Barnes

  3. Sure they know about Mendy, but he’s just one player. Mendy has info on their entire team.
As for Pulisic, I don’t understand why we’re sending a key player with a recurring injury over to a Covid pit…I’m American so I can say that 😆 I think given our rotated squad I’d play a 343. If we need to make big changes, the CL allows for 5 subs.
    Mendy
    James Azpi Rudiger Tomori Alonso
    Kova Jorginho
    Ziyech Giroud Callum

  4. I think 2 things are THE MOST IMPORTANT matters for this games: 1)We need 3points, no joke! If you all remember, last season we came 2nd in our group and look what it did to us! It put us on a head on crash course against Bayern! (We don’t want to be playing top teams early in the tournament! FINISHING TOP OF THE GROUP IS A MUST MUST MUST!

2)Secondly, we are going into a international break again after Sheffield United on the weekend. I would make out Pulisic is fully injured and doesn’t have to fly to America or start playing silly friendly games or America vs Cuba (or silly games that they have) last time he was injured and was on the comeback, he flew over to America and played games for them.
I would also try and do same for Werner, Kai and Ziyech… make agreement with their national team manager where they don’t play friendlys.

Therefore they can have a rest now tonight and small rest when the international break is on.

  5. I'd prefer Giroud to start. He's just better in so many ways including linking with players around him and well, scoring goals. That is the point of the game from a forward's perspective. I do not want to see Werner continue to be moved outside of the middle to accommodate Tammy. He can play LW but he's not particularly good there or comfortable and Chelsea have better options at LW than Timo.
I don't know why you're overly concerned with Havertz and Werner's fatigue but not Kante's. Bit confusing. Kai is what, 21 years old? He's fine, as is Timo. It does make sense to sub them off if the game is settled in their favour however I'd say the same with Silva, Kante, Chilwell also.
Makes no sense to invert Zouma and Silva. I pointed that out last game. Silva should be on the right side and Kurt on the left. I see no strategic sense in flipping them but it's what Frank does….make weird decisions that I think limit the full potential of the team.
They cleaned Burnley in spite of Lampard moving Timo to the left and flipping Silva, not because of those decisions. Chelsea have so much quality now though, it really would take serious efforts to sabotage them with silly mistakes. Before those poor decisions costed us but now….too much quality is spilling over.
Pitty about Pulisic, AGAIN. I think he's fantastic, played incredible with Giroud last season late but he's looking to be like a glass man. Just breakable. Hope I'm wrong but it's one thing or the other with him now. In 6 weeks, he comes back, plays a bit here and there and watch, they'll be another "small" niggle that will turn into a month or more. Pattern recognition.
I think Frank should go hard at Rennes and get the victory. Big money in Europe, don't take them lightly and play the best team. Get a good solid lead and then think about fitness management.

  6. I think we should rest havertz.. trust in kova. He can def perform in that role as he’s also a good carrier of the ball. Then if need be were we need a spark havertz may be brought in when everyone else is not as fresh anymore. What do you think younes?

  7. Pulisic is a good player don’t get me wrong but the guy hardly plays anymore he’s to injury prone we can’t have him getting injured all the time sell him and buy a reliable less injury prone player
