The reason Ampadu was hyped less than Hudson Odoi was probably because Chelsea were/are in desperate need for a good winger.Perhaps more than a CB or a midfielder.
Bakayoko, Van Ginkel, Drinkwater, Kennedy, Piazon all need to go. We can raise good money from their moves and still have a balanced team

I want to see Ampadu as a destroyer/deep lying play maker. A mixture of Makelele and Scholes. The one thing Ampadu need to improve on is his ability to dribble. A DM needs to be super press resistance. Bakayako and Drinkwater should be sold for him.

best option right now is to loan him to a top premiere team. Looking at the midfield and full back position, I can't see him making more games in chlesea.by the way he composes himself, he has high footballing IQ.great vid, man.keep it up.

I always felt like Ampadu would have enjoyed much more if he went on loan to a PL team like S'ton, Burnley, basically any mid table team that would offer him as much 1st team football as possible. Like Zouma did. Then after a season or 2, guaranteed he would force a place in that starting 11. For now tho, would be hard to see him bench Kante, Kovacic or Jorgihno in that holding 2 mid. Either way, player to watch.
