France were like a machine , the speed, precision was frightening.Made Ireland look mediocre, Think Wales will take them tho😂 , honestly im thinking of not watching, last year was harrowing but I suppose if we score a point we'll have turned the corner. 😂

A lot of that was down to youth and raw pace vs an aging team patching a lot of holes with with missing players.
The second try was absolutely effing criminal though. French number 10 first receiver and causally jogs a straight line through 3 defenders. This guy ain't no Lomu at that's not the typically staunch and organised defence we'd come to associate with Irish sides.
Home ground advantage and the Irish let themselves down in the forwards as that is where they should have won the battle and this game.
Technical question please. Is LBB ever retreating to be on side in the first try? (And does it matter?). Second one, was it a knock at the scrum in the second try? I can only see the highlights so maybe someone can tell me if it was checked or not – it looked like it from this footage.
