When will we start to take a long look at Thelwell at his recruitment? We had an injury at CB and our 3.5m CB is nowhere near the squad to come on. Add in Aasgard, Chermiti (Jurys out on him), lack of spine/experience/mentallity and reliance on loans
RM doesnt get the best out of the players with the rigid system – Aasgard plays for Norway after all – but serious serious questions need to be asked of Thelwell. He even said loans are ‘try before you buy’ but we only have a buy option in one loan, what a clown

Asgaard has barely played for Norway and has 3 sub appearances. He’s was a league 1 Luton player for a reason. Like the rest of the recruitment he’s not good enough. Thelwell is the bigger issue here.
The poor recruitment continues to kill the club . Thelwell and Purdy might actually be the worst yet and that’s some statement. We are actually weaker since they arrived and have wasted millions on dross.
No top manager would consider coming to Ibrox under this structure and the club don’t want one either. The club want a head coach to take training and coach the team. This is Kevin Thelwells squad and he has full control and this isn’t changing any time soon. A football Director , a technical Director and a head coach is the structure now. Imagine being a coach being handed this group of sub standard players. No thanks .

Evening all, thanks to Derek and Joshua for today’s pod. I personally don’t see us getting anything on Thursday night and I would like to see Cornelius and Djiga at the back along with Tav and Meghoma. Souttar is too slow and causing too many mistakes at the back.
