If you wonder how impressive this is, remember that Raya had to assess two things first :
1) The ball curve and trajectory
2) Whether his defender or Joao Pedro gets the ball first or not
Once he realized that no one got that ball, that's when he could take action. Combine that with the fact that he needs to readjust his legs and posture first to make the diving save. No untrained humans are able to analyze all of these and execute the correct decision in the span of miliseconds.
