I wasted two decades of my life in the wicked Charismatic Movement which included devotedly following Joel Osteen. I had numerous so-called prophets and apostles tell me that they were convicted of what God was saying to them about me. What resulted was that I then spend the next 23 years following what these deceiving wolves had told me to do rather than following a life of righteousness prescribed by the Bible. How deceived was I? It is only the likes of John McArthur that are now calling the victims out of this disgusting cult, so that we can find our salvation in Christ finally.
I cannot believe MacArthur's attitude. I never knew he was like this. Making a sermon out of cutting down others. You shall know them by their fruit is all I can say.
Joel Osteen is a master of tickling the ears of the deceived who think they are right with the Lord. Get real people, the Lord has ordained Joel Osteen to have his time so that many will be confirmed in their unbelief.

The truth must be told anyway. But the spirit with which we do so matters as well. It must be done with the Spirit of Christ, the spirit of love and humility, soberness. I certainly can't find that in that congregation.

God's Word is perfectly enough for me , and I'm thankful I have a copy I can study for myself – and I'm thankful for God's men like John MacArthur to help me learn even more. Who made this FOOL judge over Joel Osteen? Says Romans 14:4: "Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval."
This John guy is not lead by the Holy Spirit… everything out of his mouth. He loves to curse those who love Jesus; and have a congregation laugh and mock with him. Joel isn’t the one lost.
John sounds bitter. He is twisting what Joel says. Joel doesn’t get deep into what sin is and what happens to Sinners . He talks about how approachable God is and what God intends for us inspite of where we are and who we are – all of this is in line with the Bible – the story of the prodigal son etc. The tearing of the veil at the moment of Jesus’ death dramatically symbolized that His sacrifice, the shedding of His own blood, was a sufficient atonement for sins. It signified that now the way into the Holy of Holies was open for all people, for all time. But it sounds like John still wants the veil , to establish himself as a higher authority and make it sound complex than it has to be .
Good luck trying to figure out who has taken more money from people in the name of God; John MacArthur or Joel Osteen. You would need a team of accountants for that project.
