  1. Doing it all season? From a Cov fan, no. Didnt drag us into the playoff race last season at all either. That Sunderland hat trick around this time of the year was about his last contribution in terms of goals.

  2. Biggest problem is he’s so hot or cold. When he’s on it there’s no stopping him but when he’s not on it we’re playing with 10 men. There’s no middle ground with him. He’s either a 9/10 or a 4/10. If he could consistently be at 7 or 8/10 every week he’d be the best striker in the league by a mile.

  3. As an Arsenal fan I can say this shi with a straight face 😂 he would replace gyokeres in this team we have the way he can use both feet his play is better technically speaking and he’s a finisher a blend of both of artetas current strikers Havertz aerially and technically and gyokeres being a proper number 9 instead of speaking 100 plus million on Alvarez they should buy Wright for around 50-60 and then spend big on their left wing and midfield

  4. Haji is Covs most divisive player, he’s has moments of greatness followed by long spells of poor performances. If he could just improve his mental game so he can get that consistency hopefully he’ll do well for us in the Prem.

  5. Something's that not touched on too much is Mark Robins ability to take strikers to whatever their next level is (yes he's no longer at the club but would have played a huge role in Hajis development) Have a look at David McGoldrick, Marc McNulty, Matt Godden, Vik Gyokeres and even Jordy Hiwulas records before playing for Cov and then during their time with us.

  6. Wrights biggest enemy is himself; he can just go missing in games or seem like he’s not bothered. Next game….he will get a hat trick.

  7. There's no doubt Wright is a good player when he’s blowing hot. The issue is that he then blows cold, so cold, in fact, that he may as well not be on the pitch. That said, I would prefer him in the team rather than not in it. We were robbed in the FA Cup semi-final. #PUDB

  8. On his day he is a top player, but he really is someone who can go on very Barron runs and look very poor. This video is clearly somone who just sees the good highlights, like goals and assists of wright. He clearly is a very capable championship player, but whether or not he’s actually cut out for the premier league is yet to be seen.

  9. His goal record for Coventry is better than Viktor Gyokores – he's older but he could play in the prem. He has 3 main issues, he's hot or not and there doesn't appear to be any reason why. He's improved this, but he needs to work harder in the team he's in, the set up is about defending from the front and this is does not come naturally to him. Third main issue is that he's offside far too many times. Andy Cole – stats say he was only offside 14 times in his entire career, sometimes feels like Haji does that in a single game.
