He ended a manager’s carrer at United. Good for real Man U fans that Onana stay to help end another mediocre manager’s career next year.
And lets be honest, Onana hasn’t been great passing the ball from the back, or even saving penalties. (Reason people say areas where he is better than de gea)
I suspect the WHOLE TEAM has been jittery because they know they have a shaky goalkeeper behind them. Seriously. It is the main reason why we are so easy to play through and score against!!!!

Onana is SO BAD, we fans should start a cloud funding just to help Man U get another keeper. I am not joking. (I suspect money is the main problem why he is staying)
People who still support Onana and don't see him as a priority to be replaced are deluded.
The guy single-handedly knocked us out of the Champions League in his first season with multiple howlers and then goes on to cost us the Europa League with failing to make the only save he had to make in the game. Factor in his mistakes, errors leading to goals and the amount of goals he conceded with his poor goal keeping skills for 2 seasons, he is a top priority to be replaced.
And for people saying that he would be fine if we sort out the other positions – why do we even need Onana if all it takes for a GK to be good is for the rest of the team to do their job and he is chilling at the back. Just sell Onana and make Vitek as first-choice it still shouldn't matter if the rest of the team is doing good.
Anywhere between 30-40% of the overall goals Onana conceded is a combination of his mistakes and poor goalkeeping skills. The guy not only cost us points and games, he also cost us financially in key competitions especially Europe.
If Amorim is really considering keeping Onana for next season, he is taking a huge risk with the fanbase and it will not take long for them to turn toxic against Onana and Amorim himself especially when the fans have been so patient with Onana for almost 2 seasons and he has proved to be a big failure.
Actually we SERIOUSLY URGENTLY need ONLY TWO thinsg replaced :
1. Goalkeeper
2. A no.9 striker
Onanas poor performances are a symptom of the poor outfield players. Who do you pass to….? Doesn't matter it, comes back at him twice as quick
It wasnt Onana who cost us the EUropa it was everyones Bum boy Bruno. Wish hed left more than onana TBH. we are now 4/5 years behind a rebuild because bruno didnt leave,
XG is an awful metric im done with people using it. Football is random you can miss from 1 yard out and score from 40 at a whim. XG/ XA any X means fuck all in any sense. in any metric the obsesson over the last 3/4 years with it has been so annoying and its ruining punditry , analysis and commentation.
We shouldn’t even be thinking about getting rid of Onana, yes he’s made mistakes but do none of you like to think about the games he has, literally, saved for us. Also, the guys he’s had in front of him having changing on a game to game basis. Oh, and let’s not forget ‘hospital pass’ Maguire is still there!
We should be sorting out our attacking situation first because if you’re not scoring the goals you should be, the best goalkeeper in the world ain’t going to save you🤷🏻♂️
Not sure how good he actually is I'm happy with petrovic as our number 1 tbh but if you want a keeper go get maignan fairly cheap option while Chelsea fxxk around

Onana was never leaving so that headline is rubbish anyway.
But one thing I've to say in his defence I s that his kicking range was why he was brought to United, but the players were obviously never told that.

You have an entire team and a captain you lot worship that cannot keep the ball for a few minutes to sustain attacks consistently, you have an attack that cannot score. Yet you pile your hate on Onana.
I hope he leaves and you all bite your tongues. He is clearly not the problem, he can be replaced later if needed, however we need lots of signings to improve how the team plays.
44 goals conceded in 34 games for Onana. Outperforming the XGA. 10 goals conceded in 4 games for Bayindir.
We are not scoring goals, we are not creating chances, our players are scared to play. This isn’t on Onana. We will need a minimum 6 key signings before Onana is moved on
If he’s staying he HAS to sort out his parrying. It’s beyond me how consistently he parries pretty standard shots right into the path of opposing players. He also needs to get down much much quicker, the goal in the Europa league was a joke and he’s responsible
