For all the people complaining about Nash .. I’m sure you’re the hardest worker at your company, putting in the longest hours and even working off the clock!
And that is why Nash has a great mind for the business! He knew how to maximize his money, minimize his work and not make enemies unnecessarily. He went into the business Oz and came out a world champ in every major promotion he was in, acquired major movie roles, a household name throughout the 1990s and 2000s and most importantly RICH AS FUCK. How does that not translate to having a great mind for the business?
The AEW people don't get the business. Nash got it. Make money not friends. Nobody actually beats anyone. The booker decides who wins and loses. AEW is a bunch of wrestlers playing with their friends on a really big backyard trampoline. Nash made millions of dollars but to the AEW crowd he sucks because he never took a power bomb off a building through real glass into the bed of a truck while being set on fire while another guy stabs his tongue with a syringe. God forbid you make millions without using landscape equipment on each other in Tokyo.

Let's think about this… professional wrestler, world champion in the two top promotions of his era, still has longevity in this sport where people listen to his podcast cause he's entertaining and enjoy listening to his anecdotes and insights.
Compare this to a guy who has a 10th of an audience and primarily runs on reporting/discussing second hand information from hearsay you may or may not get from actual wrestlers interspersed with your opinions you trade as superior to people who were actually successful in the industry you talk about.

Never found Nash likable. Never saw what he brought to the table. He was big, but so boring in the ring and on the mic. Even as a 12 year old I couldn’t stand him and hated when Sting joined Wolf Pack.

Nash made a fucking fortune out of "the business". He wasn't a wrestling fan, he was a guy that made a living playing a wrestler. A lot of guys who got "the business" came out of it hurt and poor.
Nash made as much money as possible and did about as little work as possible. Seems like a genius to me!
