I asked my daughter if it was ok for me to give a call, and if she would remain silent because it was an important call (last time I had such a call she bursted into tears because she felt pushed away). I explained again what "remaining silent" was and that I wouldn't make the call if she wasn't ok with it, although it was important for me. I was surprised she said go on. She was dead silent during the full 10min of the call and when I hung up she proudly said "you see mommy, I behaved and remained silent". Sometimes you just need to make your kid feel important.
    And sometimes they are just not in the mood and need to be kids XD

  2. It’s because kids only text and don’t talk I tell them this is a cell phone you talk on it too .. and they just say I’m too loud .. ? I’m like I’m at work the phone rings ! I have to ask what they want ? This is life too … the twenty year olds at work don’t like answering phones either they just say why can’t I text it ?
