I like him however before the links I never realised he was 28. There is a slight concern that at this age he's just hit a purple patch rather than being THAT GOOD, because one would expect him to have hit these hight previously otherwise.
However even if it is a purple patch on a free transfer he's a good player anyway.

Wilson reminds me of Barkley as far as his career expectation. He never became the top player everyone thought he would become at Liverpool. That being said, he is good enough to play for us. Because he makes an impact when he plays consistently in the starting lineup. He also does something Unai demands…he hustles to play defense.. As long as the salary complies with our SCR dilemmas, nothing wrong with getting him.
This would be right back to the old days of real shrewd business by villa, similar to the kamara and tielemans deals, im buzzing for this deal to happen UTV 💜💙
