main difference between Croatia and those you mentioned, is that for Croatia play Croatian people… No people who do not love this country.
So when the legs go, mind is over the edge… There is the heart, guys play with hearth for their nation, and they KNOW how much we love them. And that for some reason in general we do good in sports (I guess this comes down to biology as well).
Those are the ONLY differences between us and lets say France, Netherlands, England…
I am not trying to imply anything but it is clear as day, look at Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia all those players are true patriots, and then compare how the fans love players.
All three nations have like 10m people together and all three performed amazingly on WC or Euros. And all of them are Ethnically consistent. (Same nation, race, religion) Just look at their last names its clear as day that when you play against them its like playing against really good Family.
They know each other, they know their traditions, and they really do play for their Country, for us it brings GREAT deal of respect to play for the national team even more than playing for lets say Real Madrid.
I assume this is hard to see for other people because they do not feel the same way towards their own countries.
keep in mind whenever you see guys like Christian Pulisic star of USA team (or any other ending at IC) it is likely they come from this region.
