Mooy to play in the more difficult/physical games like away in Europe or Vs Rangers or a difficult away game in the SPFL. This could allow us to play either McGegor further forward in an 8, or, Mooy and McGregor to play in a double pivot in a 4 – 2 – 1 – 3. McGregor needs looking after and shouldn’t be played any more than 40 games in a season. He’s too good to get injured. Thoughts ? ☘️
Mooy will be lucky to get 10 appearances, and they won't be in serious games. We're in the CL and all our signings are squad players at best. Its trash, end of story, all the happy clapping will do nothing when we finish 4th in the group with a record goals conceded.
seems like juilliens getting his move too. Now just need the same for ajeti. I'd still like to see a forward brought in because going into new season with the same forwards that the opposition are already accustomed to might count against us. That and mikey's poor and forrest is slow now. maybe that spark can be brought by kenny or vata though
People need to stfu with this trusting Ange bs, yes some of the signings have been directly from his knowledge in Japan, but a lot of them are also not his, clubs haven't worked like that for 20 years. Just because Ange said yes to these 2 free transfers doesn't mean he really wanted them, it means they were better than nothing so he took them, just like Mccarthy. Ange wanted a Souza/Vera level midfielder and he isn't getting it.

Really don’t get the hate around Mooy. He’s going to be a squad player, on a free transfer with bags of experience at a decent level? Is it a glamorous singing… absolutely not but is it good enough for 15-20 appearances a season to give McGregor and the likes a rest, 100%
Moi will do a job .. he will close down space in Europe .. mcgregor was out to dry last year when hit on the break . Unless guys have an exotic sounding name then a lot of fans aren’t interested . Ange knows what’s he’s doing ….
Mooy is a solid signing tbh never cost us a penny and ange knows him so he wouldn’t be taking him if he thought he was a dud. Rotation is key for us every successful Celtic team has had 2/3 players fighting for every position.
What you & some fans are looking for, might not be what Ange is looking for

I'm actually good with Mooy I think he could well be a great addition.
Moritz could well be fantastic and Ange could work his magic… Eventually.
He doesn't address our need for a left sided ball playing CB who can play in Europe and has been patched 1 year into his deal off a team who are by all due respect not are not even close to attempting what we are this year.
We're in a position we could've easily saved Ange the hassle of having to pull a rabbit out the hat.
The profile is miles off what we've been linked with previously so it's only natural expectations have been set higher. This just reeks of bottom of the list hit and hope.
That said I bet it works out but why not just arm him with a sure thing, impossible not to shake the feeling Ange might be internally raging. We know where that road leads.
Imo the board should be gobbling Ange and hand feeding him breakfast every morning because without him they wouldn't be loving life, printing money, selling out merchandise to a properly united fanbase, gaining a new fanbase from two different continents, planning events there etc etc.

Why do we have to change a winning championship team. And we don’t have to buy anyone to compete with Livingston Dundee Ross county st mirren Motherwell etc. why spend all that money when we have a team that will win our farmer’s league. Who’s going to challenge us ? If these guys are any good why are they not playing ever other week in stadiums like Nottingham Forrest Sunderland Barnsley Birmingham etc etc. instead of Kilmarnock Dundee United Ross county st Johnstone. Etc. Just being realistic.
