If it was a non-English GK, they would have called it a brave move, a leader leading by example etc, does not give a damn etc. But because it was Ramsdale – all these media guys were trying to get Arteta roiled up etc. Even now it stings them that Arteta was very right – he went for long term quality that is needed for high level play in CL and PL.
I think we all knew Raya was a better keeper. I don't think we knew how much Ramsdale was overperforming. Poor guy has fallen off so much since he left.
